Nadanam strives to promote and encourage artists that practice south asian dance styles in North America. Applicants are asked to present their own choreography. With this aspect, we hope to showcase North American artists in a different light. As North Americans we often overlook our home grown talent and wonder why south asian arts have not progressed on this side of the world. Nadanam hopes to provide a platform that is safe for artists to present their artistic identities while keeping the south asian arts alive with proper execution and knowledge.
